Zimbabwe captain Craig Erwin has won the toss and elected top bat first in the third and final one-day international against Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) — Zimbabwe captain Craig Erwin won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final one-day international against Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa Stadium on Thursday.

Sri Lanka leads the three-match series 1-0 after the first match was washed out due to rain.

Sri Lanka dropped out-of-form Dasun Shanaka and handed a first one-day cap to Shevon Daniel. Wanindu Hasaanga, who missed the World Cup due to injury, comes back in place of Jeffery Vandersay despite the latter's two wickets and 19 not out in the lower order playing a crucial role in winning the second match.

Zimbabwe has recalled opener Takudzwanashe Kaitano in place of Tinashe Kamunhukamwe. Wellington Masakadza replaces Tapiwa Mufudza and Faraz Akram makes way for Luke Jongwe.
